Nano brows are an advanced permanent makeup technique that creates incredibly fine, natural looking hairstrokes using a single , ultra fine needle This allows each hair stroke to be customized in its length, thickness, direction, and depth, creating brows that look soft, dimensional, and incredibly realistic. Every set is individually designed to complement your unique facial features and natural brow pattern.

While both techniques create hair-like strokes, they are performed very differently. Nano Brows use a single, ultra-fine needle, while microblading uses a manual blade made up of multiple tiny needles. Because Nano Brows don’t use a blade, the procedure is generally gentler on the skin, causes less trauma, and allows for more precise, natural-looking results. Nano Brows are suitable for all skin types, including oily and mature skin, while microblading is generally recommended only for very dry, firm skin. That’s why Nano Brows are my preferred technique for creating soft, natural-looking brows that heal beautifully.

Permanent makeup gradually fades over time and will eventually be barely visible if never touched up. However there are many factors that affect how quickly they will fade. This includes how closely pre care and after care instructions are followed, skin type (dry/oily), lifestyle, age, metabolism, medication and more. Sun exposure and tanning beds fade pigment quickly and can affect the color of the pigment. This is why it is important to avoid sun exposure and wear a medical grade sunscreen over healed microblading. Closely following aftercare instructions will give you the best healed results and help you retain your brows longer. Please know that touch ups are normal and expected to keep your brows looking fresh.

Those with young, dry/normal skin and a good amount of Eyebrow hair are the best candidates for PMU. Generally very oily or mature skin doesn’t heal as well as those with dry skin, but with an experienced artist can still have great results.
Unfortunately, not everyone is a candidate for permanent makeup. We want each of my clients to have the absolute best results possible, but not every client is best suited for PMU.

What is a contraindication? A contraindication is a condition or circumstance that suggests or indicates that a particular technique or product should not be used on a person.
PMU Contraindications include:
High blood pressure, heart conditions, or on heart medications
Taking blood-thinners such as aspirin, fish oil or similar medications
Taking antibiotics, or received any vaccinations within 2 weeks
Uncontrolled diabetes (clients with controlled diabetes should consult their doctor and bring a doctors note)
Pregnant or breastfeeding
Herpes simplex
Certain skin conditions e.g. acne near brow area, rashes, blisters, psoriasis, eczema, or rosacea
Using steroids topically or internally such as cortisone, Accutane, Retinol Retin-A or Renova
Allergic to Lidocaine
Susceptibility to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
Hypertrophic scarring or keloid scarring
Spider veins or a birthmark in the area they want to be treated
Blood disorder e.g. sickle cell anemia, haemophilia, or a platelet disorder
Anyone who has any serious medical conditions may require a physician's note.
Thick porous, oily skin or thin, fragile aging skin
Sunburns in the last 2 weeks
Chemical peels in the last 2 weeks
Botox or injectables in the last 2 weeks
Those with nickel or hair dye allergies should have a patch test done behind the ear prior to procedure

Oily Skin: Increased oil production can cause hair strokes to blur and fade very quickly, or not stick at all. If you have combination or oily skin, you are a candidate for a combination or ombre brows, but not for microblading.
Sun Exposure: Increased exposure to the sun will cause premature fading. I recommend all my clients purchase Cannasmack Ink Guard on Amazon to protect their healed brows from the sun.
Excessive Bleeding: Excessive bleeding during your procedure will greatly affect how your body retains pigment. Pinpoint bleeding throughout the procedure is normal, but excessive bleeding can cause the pigment to fade very quickly and heal ashy. While bleeding is not entirely in our control, it is important that you follow pre care instructions to help minimize bleeding. This includes avoiding blood thinning medication, caffeine, and alcohol 24 hours before your procedure.
Some Medications: Certain medications such as antibiotics can affect how your PMU heals.

You'll be pleasantly surprised about how little you would feel!. A numbing cream is applied onto the treated area prior to the procedure, that should make the whole process relatively painless. We also use the smallest diameter blade on the market so it causes the least trauma to the skin. Some people with sensitivity or a lower pain threshold may find the procedure mildly uncomfortable, but most clients are
experiencing little to no pain at all!

We are very selective about cover-up work because old permanent makeup needs to be at least 80% faded for optimal results. If it's too saturated, the new work might not be visible or create a messy appearance. As an artist, we prioritize beautiful natural looking results.
“So, what should I do?” you might ask. There are a few options. First, you can wait for the old pigment to fade naturally. This could take months or even years, but you can accelerate the process with a chemical exfoliant like glycolic acid or retinol. Consult an aesthetician for personalized advice.
If you can't wait or the pigment is implanted too deeply, removal might be a good option. Saline removal involves a trained specialist injecting a saline solution into the skin to lift pigment to the surface, causing it to scab and flake away. This may require multiple sessions.
Laser tattoo removal is often faster but can be more expensive. It's crucial to find a technician specializing in microblading removal, as it differs from traditional tattoo removal.
While it's tempting to rush, patience is key for optimal results. Avoid going to just any artist who offers cover-ups. Choose a professional who prioritizes quality and can deliver the desired outcome

To ensure optimal results, please avoid certain products and activities before your PMU appointment.
-Four weeks prior, discontinue using retinols, retin-A, or chemical peels. These can cause skin thinning and sensitivity, affecting the procedure's outcome.
-Two weeks before, avoid Botox or Dysport injections. We want to work with the final results of your injections, and they can also impact the microblading process. Schedule injections either two weeks before or after your brow appointment.
Avoid excessive sun exposure to prevent sunburn, which would necessitate rescheduling.
Stop waxing, tweezing, or tinting your brows a couple of weeks before. This allows me to assess your natural shape and growth for a more natural result.
Two days prior, discontinue blood thinners like aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, fish oil, CoQ10, and ibuprofen. Many supplements can thin the blood, so review your medications carefully. Blood thinners can increase bleeding during the procedure, affecting pigment retention and healing. Consult your doctor before stopping any medications.
-Twenty-four hours before, avoid caffeine, alcohol, and smoking. These substances can thin the blood or elevate blood pressure, leading to excessive bleeding.
On the day of your appointment, avoid strenuous exercise, as it can raise your blood pressure and increase bleeding.
Come with freshly washed hair. Keeping your brows dry after the procedure is important, and washing your hair might be difficult. We'll also be taking photos, so come feeling confident and comfortable

Immediately after getting your brows done, you may experience minor redness or swelling around the treated area, which typically goes away within 12 hours. Over the next few hours, the pigment in the skin will oxidize, making the brows look darker and warmer (red) than they were initially. This is normal and expected. Pigment typically fades anywhere from 20-40% once fully healed.
Around day 3-4, you may notice light flaking on the treated area. This is normal! Please refrain from picking at the brows. Doing so will result in loss of pigment in those areas and can cause scarring. Brows may appear spotty or patchy until the entire brow has finished healing. Once all the flaking is complete (usually around day 10), the brows will appear much lighter. The pigment will slightly darken over the next 4-6 weeks to your final, healed results.
At 4-6 weeks, your brows will be fully healed. Whatever pigment that does not return will be addressed at your touch up appointment. At this appointment, we will asses your retention, touch up the spots that didn’t stick, and can adjust the pigment color to give you perfect brows! Once the brows have healed from your touch up appointment, you will have beautiful, full brows for 12-36 months!

Initial Microblading appointments typically last between 2 to 3 hours. For combo brows, expect the appointment to take around 3.5 hours. Touch-up appointments usually take 1 to 2.5 hours, depending on the amount of work needed

Typically, yes! The touch-up, also known as the perfecting session, allows us to make any necessary adjustments after your initial appointment. Some clients opt for a darker or thicker look, while others need touch-ups in areas that faded more. If everything heals well, a touch-up isn't always necessary. Remember, less is often more with permanent makeup. If you're satisfied with the results, it's best to leave them alone for optimal long-term effects.
Touch-ups can be scheduled anytime from 6 weeks to 12 months after the initial session. Appointments scheduled after 12 months are considered color boost or refresher sessions

A $35 deposit is taken upon booking, and the remaining balance is due at your appointment. 
Please note that If you have previous permanent makeup done by another artist it can not be considered a touchup and you must book Cover up/Color Correction service instead. We require all clients with previous work to submit a clear, filter and makeup free photo of your brows or lips via text or email before booking.

After completing the initial session and touch-up, most clients can enjoy their permanent makeup for 1-2 years before needing a refresher. The longevity of your PMU depends on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare practices. Excessive sun exposure and certain skincare products can shorten the lifespan of PMU and cause unnatural fading. Follow the provided long-term aftercare instructions to maintain beautiful brows for as long as possible.
Before booking an annual refresher, it's important to let the previous pigment fade by 50-60%. This allows us to refresh the existing ink without causing blotches or unevenness. If you're unsure about needing a refresher, feel free to email photos for guidance to Alisavaisburg88@gmail.com

24 hours notice is required to make any changes to your appointment.
Any cancellations after that will result in a loss of your $35 deposit.
No-shows/No call will result in a loss of your $35 deposit, and will be charged 50% off the appointment (due before you may reschedule).
All deposits are non refundable except constellations.
Canceling the appointment or rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment results in losing your $35 deposit and being required to pay a new one for the next appointment.
